1.Ishan Kishan- India
Ishan Kishan from Team India is a second wicket-keeper who plays as an opener and a middle-order batsman. Shafiqullah has not been a game-changing T20 player from the Afghanistan squad. Featured in 46 matches, he’s managed to score just 494 runs at a poor average of 16.46. Considering his last 20 T20I innings, the right-hander has only recorded 13 single-digit scores.
4.Bjorn Fortuin- South Africa
The weakest player on the South African side would be Bjorn Fortuin.
In the seven matches he has played in his T20I career, the left-arm spinner has only managed to take six wickets at an economy rate of 8.05 runs per over. Bjorn has been unimpressive with the ball in hand as far as we’ve observed. Even with the bat, Bjorn has scored a meagre 35 runs in 5 innings at an average of 11.67.
5. Mitchell Swepson- Australia
Mitchell Swepson would be the weak T20 player in the impressive Australian squad. Though he gives us a Shane Warne Déjà vu at some point, Swepson has been erratic with line and length; his habit of bowling long hops to the batsman is not winning him any brownie points. However, Swepson’s career has just taken off, so we’re hoping that our impression of him changes with his promising performances.
6.Sarfaraz Ahmed- Pakistan
Former Pakistan team Captain and Skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed is a weak T20 player. Hard to believe that a Captain would make a weak player in this list. The wicket-keeper has struggled to score runs considering his past 12 innings in T20I cricket. Sarfaraz has just managed to cross the 30-run mark twice.
7. Mark Chapman- New Zealand
The weak T20 player in the Kiwi squad is Mark Chapman. The left-handed batsman has not packed a punch in the past seven innings in the T20I cricket format so far. It has been his struggle to score double digits as seen in his past five matches. Chapman is certainly not the safest T20 player to bet on in the T20 World Cup.
8. Sam Billings- England
Sam Billings is the weakest T20 player in the England squad. If you look at his past nine innings in T20 cricket, the right-handed batsman has not managed to score the decent 30-run mark. He’s failed to cross double figures on several occasions.
